  1. Whoo hoo!!!!!!! Love it
  2. Awesome, Wanda! I so agree. Ready to get home and back to normal. Well, is there normal?
  3. Oh, I love them and want one!
  4. I agree, Kim, for me maintenance is still pretty much the same as losing. Do what I know to do, be diligent, log it all, eat cleanly and yes, maintain for another year! Well said, SherylJane
  5. Yes, it is so easy to "fudge" ( excuse the pun but that was a weakeness! Lol) during the holidays. Luckily for me, I know I didn't that cleanly but my overall cals stayed pretty close most days which helped me not go over my bounce except a pound. I got back in range last week but now in NOLA Tje land of beignets and Cajun food!!!
  6. Wow! Looking at all of your pics makes me think, "biggest loser got nothing on us!"
  7. I soooo love all of these NSVs! They make me break out into a big smile just reading them!!! Happy happy happy!!
  8. Yes, as we get further out it is much easier to eat not only larger quantities (but still small) but many different items including all the lovely sliders. I, also, did much better this year by mostly logging and fasting some days (5:2). I was not 100% faithful but learned hard lessons from the last year about regain and I LIKE where I am now. It's too difficult to relose so maintenance is all about accountability to my group on BP and MFP. Yay, to all of us! We've got this!
  9. So glad to hear that there are several peeps starting 5:2. I think you will truly love it and the results if you are consistent and committed. It is a super tool And like Kim said, you can arrange your 500 how you like. They do recommend that you have at least a 12-18 hour period of complete fasting in a 24 hour period. Like nothing after 7 night before and not eating until 11 or so the next morning. I usually do it that way and have a cup of SF hot cider or drink when I get to work and then something small around 11 or so. Eat main calories for dinner and a small snack before 7pm.
  10. Yep, those sugar cookies and fudge and candy and.... Well, um. But no gain. yet.
  11. Also, Minestrone soup is excellent
  12. Can't remember if I've posted yet or not. I live in Conway. I was sleeve by dr Mark Gibbs, Baptist, 6/4/10. Paid 250 to Dr and 300 to hospital. Great results. Have lost 110 total. 3 1/2 years out.
  13. Well, Girls, sounds like everyone has a lot going on from weddings to surgeries to housing, to "sparring" (Coops ????) to lovely parties and Just "issues!" I, for one, am sitting in Chuck E Cheese enjoying my three "grand girlies" on my 60th BD! Ha!!! In New Orleans having a lovely visit. Both of the older girls surprised me with beautiful cards they purchased all on their own and surprised me. My son ordered me a beautiful keepsake charm engraved, my daughter sent me a lovely message and song and dear Hubs as well. ( he chose to stay home since he had been with kids for the last two weeks! Ha!). Wish all of you the best in your day, fasting or otherwise.
  14. Well, the last day of 2013 hard to believe. Two days away from a huge milestone. 60. Da da daaaah! Even saying it out loud makes me cringe. Ha! I know it's just a number. It's just in my head. You are as old as you feel. Hmmm. .
  15. My stomach does it all the time!! Sometimes louder than others! I can't really tell if different foods make a difference because some mornings I get up and it's already grumbling before I eat!
  16. Love it!!
  17. Whoo hoo!! Good work, Girly! Just eating my soup for dinner. Sitting around 330 cals right now At 6:20.
  18. First, Lisa, you look great! Hope for continued relief from GERD for you! My goal is to STAY at my new low goal within 2-3 pound bounce at all times (learned that from Lynda!) Yes, Kim, carbs carbs carbs!! Fasting today and depleting the cravings hopefully!
  19. As my husband says, "there are some scary people out there!" Ha!!!
  20. Yes, I'm following your story also and would love to hear what they tell you. Hope all is well!
