  1. Talked to Alex - it seems Yahoo (maybe others) has been rejecting emails from BP for some reason and after a few BP doesn't mail to you for 30 days. He took my name off the list and said to tell anybody else not getting their notifications by email to message him direct.
  2. Anybody from the June, 2010 sleevers group still out there/ If so, check in and let's update!!!!! Still here - down 110 pounds - using 5:2 eating lifestyle to maintain. Regained about 27 pounds after about 3 years and lost it and another 10 using 5:2. Now, I've got to get these PB Crackers out of my head/mouth/pantry!!!!! LOL I'm soooo craving them!
  3. I SO agree with your post! I did fabulous through the holidays and fell off the wagon regarding carbs a couple weeks ago! Lordy! So weird!!!
  4. I def need the eyebrows done. I wind up dying them when I cover the gray in my hair since they are gray too! I'm afraid It will make me look like Groucho Marx. LOL

  6. You are having a bambino? Congrats!!!! Glad to "see" you on here. I'm 3 1/2 years out. I think it's helpful to all of us to have perspective from vets.
  7. You said it exactly right. For me, to lose I have to eat complete clean. I've found I can stay reasonably in range and do some carby eating but I sure feel more yucky doing it AFTER the initial YUM. . And we Are in the middle of an ICE STORM this morning and today. This was to be a fast day. Of course, I am home now iced in and what do I fix for breakfast- Biscuits!!!!! . Ha! Comfort. I will, of course, climb back on the 5:2 train probably tomorrow.

  16. I agree totally but as WLS peeps we already know lower carb and lower sugar is what helps reduce carvings and to lose weight. You DO need good fats, though!!

  19. Just read this on an article Twin British Doctors did. Low fat versus low sugar diet. Of course, the low sugar, low low carb versus the low fat high carb won. Both lost weight but low carb low sugar lost 9 pounds in a month.
