  6. I record with my iPhone 4, and when I'm ready to upload, I sign on to YT, plug in my phone, select upload video, and then click on the computer button, then the iPhone icon and double click and bam it uploads it's a little tricky at first.
  7. I'm on YT, I'm new there and I have watched everyone on the thread's videos!! I love it, keep 'em coming guys, such an inspiration! My link is in my signature
  8. Thanks Deb! I am actually one of the lucky few, and I don't need pre-auth, once my requirements are met, I schedule surgery, and then after surgery my claim gets submitted! I absolutely cannot wait!!!!
  9. I've been watching yours today! im uploading my first video now!
  10. This is it folks, last step tomorrow! Going for my psych eval, then I can schedule surgery. Hopefully for some time in May! This has been a whirlwind journey, it's been less than a month since my initial consult appointment with my surgeon (Dr. Jawad, Ocala, Fl). I am so excited!!!
  11. Torrid will be your best friend!!! I love that store
  12. I ignore naysayers and their negativity. I'm doing this for me, and my future. Everyone except for my mom, dad, brother, best friend, and boyfriend try and tell me I'm too young and haven't exhausted all of my weight loss options. I'm only 19. But I've gotten good advice on this site, and I guess the best response I have to those people is I guess you've never been fat, let alone fat for your entire life. I have exhausted all of my options,I have done pills, yoyo dieting, everything you can inagine. So, like I said, I've learned to ignore them, because they aren't a part of my future. Go for it girl, do what makes you happy! If you ever need to talk feel frere to message me
  13. I'm thinking about starting a vlog so that i can document my journey. I just feel weird holding a camera in front of my face and talking lol. How many of you guys have one? Should I start one? thanks everyone
  14. yay deb!!!!!! im so so so proud of you!!!!
  15. I told my:mom, dad, brother, b/f, and best friend. I do not regret that decision! however it was my decision, and this is yours. I will tell you that yesterday I told two people that I consider my good friends, and did not get the positive reaction I was hoping for. If you know they won't be supportive then maybe you shouldnt tell them because you need all the positive energy you can get right now, you have to have a support group, just remember we are all always here for you if you need anything!
  16. you look gorgeous!!! AMAZING!! congratulations on all of your success
  17. I want to thank each and everyone of you for your support. It means a lot to me, and it helps me to know that I have support here. I have my family, and my best friend, but this is such a great support system. I will take everyone's advice, and again, thank you so much for being here for me when I needed it. I love you all!!!!
  18. So, I am looking forward to surgery in May, I am in nursing school and plan on having the surgey over summer. I know when I go back, people are going to realize that I have lost a lot of weight. Well, besides my family I've only told oneperrson, my best friend, she is also heavy, and very supportive, and actually hoping to have the procedure herself. She is 33 <---- you'll know why this is important in a minute. Today I went out to lunch with two people that I considered my friends. I decided that since they would see how much weight I've lost after summer I would tell them. Again, this is a decision I didn't want people to know about, so I told them, thinking that they were my friends and they would be as supportive as my family and best friend. That didn't happen . All I heard about was how I am too young to have the surgery, and have I exhausted all of my weight loss options. I am 19, so yes I am young, and yes in this current moment, I am healthy. But I know that I won't be 10 years fom now, I've been overweight for most of my life and I need this. IDK I guess I was just expecting too much from my so called friends. Thanks for listening everyone.
  19. Don't discount your success! You are a success story, I'm having my surgery in May, and one year from my surgery date May 2012, I will be graduating nursing school. If I lose half as much as you did in a year, or look half as good, I'll be doing great! so keep it up girl! You're an inspiration!
  20. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! That is by far the best NSV!!!!! so happy for you! Please keep us all informed and updated!
