  1. I was banded just over 2 years ago and at first all went well. The thing I failed to do while going through the process was to take food addiction seriously. I always considered myself a healthy fat guy as all my normal physical test results would come back good every time, what I did not take in to account was my love of food. At first after having the band I thought man I can eat whatever I want and not gain weight and actually lose it....well this worked for some time because my portions were so small. Well then I began to miss the high that goes along with over eating and figured out if I could drink Water while eating I could push more and more down to where I could eat my old portions. I have gained back about 25or so of the 80 lost..... I am in the acknowledgement phase and know that I have a problem. My commute went from 10 minutes to an hour so I do not ever see my doctor because there is no convenience to doing it I tried to fit in with my buddies once again and drank as much as they drank which resulted in eating what they ate Where do I go from here???? Can my band be so stretched out that I can not achieve my results???? I am tired of being the healthy fat guy and want to be the athletic guy as well. I am very active and play outside with my daughter all seasons. I just need to focus and I am hoping the reading this forum will help. Any advice and encouragment would help!
  2. Wow....someone who is feeling the same as I am! I am not alone! I am not sure what to tell you to do as I am also looking for the answer. But everything I have read in the past...says we just have to get back on the horse and ride it out. Good luck!
