  1. Hi, Carolyn. Congrats on this new lease on life. Thank you for your comments. I have also been feeling the same way. I found out that my DR puts some fill in at the time of the surgery. Warm liquids, weakened juices, gatorade, and warm tea have helped me a lot. I also use a heating pad across my abdomen, it seems to lessen the bloating and gas cramps. GOOD LUCK, hang in there! Kim
  2. Hi, My name is Kimberly and I was banded on 03/02 and am having a very difficult time with keeping clear liquds down. I am post-op day 4 and feel dehydrated, will be notifying the DR in am. I also had a hiatal hernia repaired that I didnt know i had. I weighed 234 lbs when i was banded and dropped to 225 today. I know that rapid of a weight loss is not good. Ant suggestions would be appreciated. God Bless.
