Not Sure What Is Going On???
I did have this problem about every other time I ate. I had to have an un-fill. They took out 1/4 cc. It made all the difference. Dr said that he thought it was my allergies tightening me up. About a month later I got a 1 cc fill. I now am on a clock with my stop drinking 20 minutes before I'm going to eat and not drink again until 30 minutes after I take my last bite. That has helped, I haven't brought anything up in months.

Let's be honest about exercise
I do, most weeks. I got a job at my local YMCA so that I would already be there . Most weeks, I would say 3 weeks out of a month, I stay at work all 5 days and work out between 30 minutes to an hour and a half. Some weeks I only do 3 days, but I kick myself the next week and sometimes go over-board with the exercise and hurt myself. Before I got the job there I did Zumba once a week, but I haven't been to one class since. I love Zumba, it was so much fun. I'm trying to get to one, but I keep coming up with an excuse to not drive back up there (it takes me about 5 minutes to get there). I want to start water classes, but (my excuse) my swimsuit is too big now... need to get a new one.

Feeling Hungry!!
I drink water ALL the time. I have a bottle with me and sip sip sip all day long. That is what helps me not feel hungry. If you do eat a snack, make it a high protein snack. Greek yogurt is a great one! My WLS has BBQ protein chips that I LOVE! And protein bars, both are made by Health Wise. They are very good. In the beginning I told myself every time I found myself thinking about eating something that I would walk around the block instead... it worked, I was doing 5 to 7 trips around the block in the beginning. Now I don't think about food at all really, but I go to the Y and walk between 3 & 4 miles a day. Good luck! You CAN do it!!

Dr. Russell Gornichec - Great Experience
Dr. G did my surgery and is going to be doing my husband's as well. I did a lot of research on the doctors in this area, and I'm so glad I did. Dr. G (and his staff) is wonderful!!!

First me - Now my husband
Hello, I was just sent to this website by my doctor. Support is great and I will take it from anywhere I can get it. I was Banded on 1/27/2011 and my husband got his surgery date today - 3/24/2011. It took insurance 18 days to approve my surgery and only 4 days to approve my husband's. I have been doing great so far, didn't have a lot of pain at all, there hasn't been any major issues with the surgery. While in surgery my doctor noticed that my liver and spleen are enlarged so I have been getting tests to see what that is all about, but overall I have been doing great. I go for my first fill on 3/7/2011, I am looking forward to that, because right now I am pretty much staying hungry all the time. Have a GREAT day!
