  1. BIOTIN: I also take Biotin for my skin, hair and nails as an extra B supplement. I use NOW Biotin purchased at my local health food store. This is what it looks like. It's in a very small, easily swallowed capsule. I started taking biotin 6 months before I had my lap band surgery and I know it's helped. NOW Foods - Biotin 1000 mcg - 100 Caps You can buy this in a local health food store, GNC or online. Now brand is a good brand. and it's not real expensive either.
  2. Has anyone tried Biotin? I have taken 1000 mg of Biotin for over a year now and have not experienced any hair loss at all. Now makes a real small capsule which is pretty easy to take even if you're tight. I take it with a warm liquid every morning when I take my protein.
  3. I think Dr. Kam is fantastic!.. I am sooooo glad I went with him and Barix Clinic, they are simply the best in the area and that's a 2 hour radius.
  4. I have a homemedic that I paid 90+ for which has never been accurate. Last week I purchased the Weight Watchers Scale for $20.00 and it's perfect. Just goes to show you it doesn't have to be expensive to work.
  5. I am going through the Barix Clinic out of Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area. So far I have been extremely impressed by their professionalism and thoroughness. Dr. Kam is doing mine and I really like him and his office staff have been great! No problems with insurance acceptance with them at all.
