  1. Check into http://www.fillcentersusa.com; they should be able to locate a Dr. in your area. They are very reasonably priced.
  2. I have the same problem with Drs. My Dr. is 4 hours out. I found Fill Centers USA at (http://www.fillcentersusa.com) They should be able to find a Dr. in your area. They have very reasonable prices. I hope they can help you with what you are looking for; even if it is not a fill.
  3. I had my surgery about 5 weeks ago and am going in for my first fill next week. I have had no restriction and am very miserable. I am aware that I am suppose to follow a program; so this is not the issue. My issue is the feeling of hunger after meals and in between. I got the band in hopes to have help with curbing my appetite. I know everyone's bodies are different. I want to know, if you have had a fill can you tell me your experience of appetite control; how long did it last? How long did you have to wait for your second fill?
  4. I don't think I can really help you with food choices however, I can refer you over to a free site that will help you track all calories, proteins, carbs and exercises. It is Sparkpeople.com. You can put in just about any food you east and it will break it down for you. Good luck
  5. I was banded on 01-20-2011. I was told I had to be on Clear Liquids for two weeks; it was the most horrible thing I ever had to do. My physician told me after 1 week to start blended foods. I started doing this about 4 days ago. I am still wanting to eat normal foods. It seems everything I see is foods I want to eat. I sometimes feel so desperate I want to blend foods I would not normally eat just to be able to eat something different. I know this is not normal for me however, this makes me feel as if I'm off to a bad start.. I was told I had to continue one blended foods for another week. How do I know when my body is ready for different food, more solid food?
  6. I was banded on 01-20-2011. I feel I am completely restricted on everything I eat however, I know in a few weeks I will be able to eat once again. I have always craved sweets. I know I will be able to eat some and many other foods I love however; this to me is odd; I have never been able to do this. I know I will need to still monitor what goes into my body. I am really scared that because I have the band I will have the mind set that I can eat what I want. Is there many people out there that have similar issues? Is there many people who have had failure?
  7. I was recently banded in TJ. I am currently looking for a good fill Dr in the county of Kern that charges reasonable fees for Mexico patients. Could anyone send me fill Dr.s in the Kern area along with costs?
  8. I was just banded in TJ; they use the fluoroscopy technique. I believe they charge $100 a fill. You can contact my facilitator @ 760 779 9178; her name is Terry, she should be able to help you.
