  1. Today is my 8th day post op. I guess my stomach is not swollen any more because I am eating a lot more than I think I am supposed to :hungry: . I have my first post op Dr. appt.today. Maybe I'll get a fill, I hope so. I don't like the idea of going through this and having the same appetite as before. I've lost about 25 lbs. with the pre-op diet and this past week of not eating very much :clap2: . I don't want the progress to stop now.
  2. After about an hour of sleeping, I get a feeling of nausea and have to get up. I can sleep fine sitting up in a chair, but that gets old. I do not eat at least 3 hrs before bed and then it has been only liquids.:tired I'm only 4 days out and so far I have had no problems from clear liquids to smoothies to applesauce. No pain. No other problems. If only I could sleep in bed:cry
  3. ONE DAY POST OP Had surgery Feb. 13. A little gassy. A little sore. Nothing major. So far, so good. Lost 14lbs on pre op diet, Hope that's just the beginning. I need to drop about 110lbs. Lots OF luck to everyone.
  4. keep a bag of m&m's handy. Just a few will bring your sugar level up in very short time. I also am diabetic using glucovance only and watching my diet. After two days on pre-op diet I was taken off glucovance because my sugarlevels were bottoming out. So far so good. No more glucovance since. Dr. says that as I progress diabetes should be a thing of the past. Hope you have good luck.
  5. Helo to all. I am 1 day post op. I feel some pressure (not bad) and some soreness around a few of the incisions. Being very cautious about drinking to much fluid. Dr. says 64oz.daily. I drink about 2oz. and feel bloated. I guess just take it slowly. :nervous OH yes.....HAPPY VALINTINES DAY TO ALL:)
