Hi my name is Jennifer I'm 28 and i'm getting banded on wednesday 4/13 . Can not believe how the time has flown by and surgery will be in a few days .. anyways i am looking for a buddy to chat with that is going thru the same stuff !

I felt the same way ! I was sooooo scared for surgery i could hardly stand it ! I Just had surgery wednesday and I made it through surgery with no problems ! You will be ok and home before you know it ! -
6 months of supervised diet?

when i had cigna they would not cover it all and said i would have to try to prove that it was medically necessary which included a 6 month monitored diet ! Once i switched to Anthem I got approval very fast and had the surgery within 4 months .. Good Luck ! -

How much weight was lost on liquid diet prior to surgery?

my doctor made me do a 3 week liquid diet, i did add soup to the mix because i don't like the way the broth tastes but i have lost 27 lbs so far ..that is one hard diet to stick to ! -

Pam and Christina i feel like i have so much in common with both of you ! I'm 28 so right around the same age and my surgery date is 4/13/2011 so same time as you both ! I hope everything works out for the best. Christina i was tempted to email you but i thought you would think who is this lady? lol anyways good luck with everything ! Jennifer
