    Is my band too tight?

Sounds to me like you have too much Fluid in your band. You HAVE to eat!! I would definitely call your Dr. and see if they can take a little out. 7.5mil in a 10mil band is a lot. Did you drink Water after your fill, before you left the Dr.s office? That should have told you right away if you were too tight. You cannot live on fluids, but if that's what you are going to do, make sure you are drinking Protein drinks!! You don't want to loose all your sources for Vitamins and you have to have protein. Good luck!! I just got a fill last week (.3 to a total of 6.1) and am having a lot of heartburn. May have to have .1 taken out. Trying so hard to gret in the green zone. Not easy, but too much invested to quit. Take care.
  2. I am so sorry for your troubles. We all want to look good and be healthy, but at this price? NO! As stated by others, get to a doctor and get your self healthy!! Good luck and God bless.
  3. The eating fast will have to stop! My after care place gave me a one minute egg timer and you really need to use it at the beginning so you know how long to wait before taking another bite. Some same 30 seconds and some say 1 minute. The timer really helps! I have always been a slow eater, but when I wait too long to eat and get hungry, I tend to eat too fast, but you don't do that real often. It's like they say, if it hurts when you do that, don't do that!! It's really not as bad as it sounds. You will be so nervous about it happening that you will be really cautious to make sure it doesn't. You have lots of support and we are here for you! Go for it!!!
  4. PBing is Productive Burping and comes from the esophogus, not all the way from your stomach. It's not like throwing up your toenails, but more like a wet burp. It's aggravating and can be embarrassing if you are in public. Just get to the bathroom ASAP and get it over with. It won't go away if food is stuck, so just handle it and make sure you take smaller bites and wait 45-60 seconds between bites to make sure that bite goes all the way down before you take another one. Also make sure you are totally pulvarizing the food before you swallow. It'll be okay!!

    Oh Such Questions

Well, I just had my second experience with "stuck" and I have to tell you, it's not fun!! So painful! I finally took a very small sip of water and it went on down. I was eating chicken and didn't think I ate it too fast. but stoma said otherwise! Just like everyone else has said, eat slowly and take very small bites, because getting stuck is not something you ever want to experience if you can help it! Good luck! It's all worth it.
  6. I wouldn't worry too much! We are all going to make mistakes, especially at first. It will get better!! Keep your chin up!
