Has anyone had their surgery done at Eglin AFB, Florida Hospital?

Hi, my name is Deby and I joined yesterday to learn all I can about Lap Band surgery. I retired from the Air Force about 17 years ago (I'm 55) and have steadily put the pounds on. I live in the Florida panhandle and if I have the surgery, will have it done at the military hospital here. I desperately want to lose weight and have been trying for years. The weight makes exercise painful and am hoping with Lap Band I can lose the weight for good. I'm very determined to follow doctors orders to be successful. Hi Kevin, My name is Deby and I just joined yesterday. I joined because I'm exploring Lap Band surgery. I have an initial consult with a doctor Jan 28th. I too am retired military. I retired in 1994 and steadily gained weight every year since then. I too love to cook and eat but this year is the year of change. I hope your surgery goes well. I'm looking forward to hearing how you do. Deby
