    negative feedback

I use to be a physical trainer and gym rat working out five hours a day and trained with body builders and power lifters. After, I would scarf down half of a jumbo godfather's pizza by myself but I maintained a nice body. A great number of these people have bad relationships with food and crippling insecurities. I speak from experience. They binge and fail to reach their goals, push their bodies beyond their limits and most suffer with body image issues. They hate what they are afraid of becoming, you know the old saying 'there but for the grace of god go I'. Really how could you expect a different response from someone who struggles daily to keep their body in shape, obsessively, through diet and excercise. Find another trainer or join a Water aerobics class. Interview the trainers and be satisfied with their personalities. You are paying for a service look for someone who has your best interests at heart. Oh, If they watch themselves in the mirror and flex their muscles instead of focusing on you then get rid of them. If you can don't go to a hard core or commercial gym - look for a trainer at a hospital owned or operated gym you will find a differnt class of trainers.

    DIET PILLS

I have taken a number of things Prozac, Welbutrin, Topamax, adipex and one other I can't remember off hand. Topamax was amazing for control of binge eating however the side effects are intense excessive thirst, loss of words when forming sentences etc. I got off it once and once you get off and start it back it really doesn't have the same effect. Prozac is great helped me with eating centered obsessive thought patterns. Welburin gave me an all over sense of well being and optimism. The combination of the three helped me lose down to 190 at one point but then a horse riding accident derailed me and depression, self loathing etc snowballed from there and I find myself where I am now. The Adipex has been working really well for me and I do not have the need to eat unnecessarily. I am coming to the end of my Physician Supervised weight loss and plan to get banded as soon as I get the approval. i have also had experience with ECA stacking and the use of Clenbuterol. It works. I would not recommend the use though. I have been on both sides of the eating disorder coin - from an extremely fit physical fitness trainer who worked out 6 hours a day to what I am today. I have come to grips with a lot of my issues and know I am a work in progress but I probably won't be taking any more meds after banding.

    Crushed

I am on my second month of the Physician Supervised weight loss and am working to lose as much a I can prior to the procedure. I started out at 270 and lost 6lbs the first month. My goal is to go into the band prepared and with healthier eating habits and a sustainable excercise program. My Surgeon's office has said that I can lose down to 210 and still be in the approved BMI range for Insurance coverage and as a plus have momentum going into the band. I would like to be able to get to 210 and it's going to be hard work but realistically if I can get to 230 I will be pleased. Good luck with your journey!!! Initial Consult with Surgeon 12/07/10 Initial Visit with FP and beginning of Physician Supervised Weight Loss Program 12/07/2010 Height 5'4 weight 270lbs BMI 46.3 First Weigh In 01/07/2011 263lbs BMI 45.1 I am eating Low Carb/ High Protein and Swimming.

  5. Thanks for responding!! I have 3 horses at the moment and am focused on Trail and Competitive trail. CTR and such. When I get the weight off I would like to work toward being more competitive and get back into dressage. I won't be banded till probably July but am looking forward to life after. How are you doing so far?

  6. Hey Equus I ride as well and am preparing for a banding. Have you ridden post banding? I would love to hear about your experience so far. Thanks!
