  1. Hi. Well I just had the Gastric Plication about 3 weeks ago and so far its been great. While getting my surgery done I met several people. One of them was a woman who had had the lap band but had had some problems and was considering the Plication. With the lap band you have to make sure your doctor knows what he or she is doing. But If i were you I'd get the Plication. Its around the same price as the lap band if not cheaper. Its basicly like the Sleeve but removable and I think you might be able to loose more with the plication. but if you really want the lap band you should go for it! I've never met anyone who's regretted getting weight loss surgery done, in fact most people wish they'd had it done earlier. So go for it!
