  1. That is so awesome. When most people think IBS they think constipation but as you say mine has been totally opposite. Thanks for your comments and your results have been incredible. Congratulations!!!
  2. I have been diagnosed with IBS. Nothing I have read said that this was an issue but Crohn's disease is always mentioned. THe two are similar in some ways. Any experience with IBS people having LapBand? I am excited about the surgery but very nervous so any insight to this topic or the surgery in general would be helpful. Thanks a lot.
  3. I am totally jealous that you have an insurance that will cover. I have United Healthcare and I was told by my insurance company that they have never covered WLS. When I asked what they did for weight loss they replied that they had an exercise and diet program. I was very offened because they made it sound like I have not tried everything just to gain the weight back and more. After all my research I do not believe Weight loss surgery is an easy way out and I am paying for the surgery out of pocket because I just want something to aid in the effort I am already putting forth. Good luck to everyone.
  4. Hello everyone. My name is Ashley and I am new to this site. I have already had my consultation and hope to be banded in approximately 3 weeks. Can anyone share their experiences with me? I have done my research but nothing is as effective as a personal testimonial. Thanks for your responses.
