  1. I have bc/bs of south carolina, I was approved in less than 24hrs.
  2. I was told it had to go flat before drinking.
  3. Banded on the 27th home on the 28th. Having a carnation breakfast drink with a small piece of banana blended in the magic bullet for breakfast. Can;t even feel any banana pieces when sipping. For lunch I boiled some potatos seasoned them and added milk put them the magic bullet and having yummy soup. For dinner I have been having a protein shake with a bit of peanut butter for flavor blended well in the mb.
  4. No, but I was lucky enough to get my period the day I got home!! LOL
  5. The only pain I had was those freakin burps!! I was sent home with tylonol w codine but didnt really need it.
  6. 100% insurance paid!!:clap2: I was banded on the 27th, feel good but slugish! I look foward to sharing my journey and yours!:confused:
  7. BTW, only my parents and Sisters know that I am in the process of getting a surgery date. I don't plan to tell others anytime soon.
  8. I plan to tell my co-workers that I have been having stomach problems and having surgery to check it out. Close enough to the truth for me!
  9. My friend has N.A.S.H. it has somthing to do with sorisis (sp) of the liver, from either drinking or being overweight. In her cause it was overweight, and had got to the point to where it couldn't be corrected, but by losing weight it wouldn't get worse. She had gastric bypass last year and is doing great.

  11. I want people to ask "who's that girl" when they see the new me!!:clap2: My seminar is next week, Jan. 4th and I am super excited! I have been a lurker of the board and have learned so much from everyone!! I have BC/BS of SC, and lapbad is covered with a bmi of over 40 with no other health issues, which is my case. I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes smooth and can be banded by before March.
