2 days Post-Op, surgery went very well. I haven't been in any major pain at all but I have really stayed up on my pain meds. No hunger pains and have dropped 5lbs. Hopefully I will get a chance to get out of the house today. So far no regrets at all and would do it again.

thanks for the response. I left a message as soon as i dont it, just waiting for the call back tomorrow. Figured since i have access to so many kind folks here, I would ask if anyone been through similar. Dont think it will be much of an issue. First this that wnet through my mind was surgery and not the fact i just got burned.

Well my surgery date is a few days away and I pray it doesn;t get pushed back. Today while ironing for work my Iron shorted out and i got a minor burn on my arm. It happen after my surgeons office closed was just wondering how bad and open wound or sore has to be before surgery is put off?

Well I made it through all the pre-op appointments and test. Dr submitted to insurance company yesterday, And today I get a call for approval!!! Process went way better than I was thinking, pretty much 1 month between first visit and approval. I meet with the Dr on the 31st for to follow up on test and to set up surgery date!

Hello, I have been lurking for about a month. I live in Raleigh, NC and I am praying to be banded soon. Tuesday I have an appointment with a nutritionist which will be my last appointment until approval. A bit nervous because at all my appointments everyone was shocked I am trying to get lapband. I am 5'6' 255 lbs with sleep apena/high blood pressure, cholesterol/diabetes. I think I am a walking billboard for lapband, just pray my insurance sees it that way. Anyone ever use Verizon BCBS...uggh

I go for my first appt Wednesday Dec 15th, a little nervous about starting the process and then not getting approved later
