  1. Are there any bandsters out there with type 1 diabetes? Do you have any advice or warnings. Most band advice/stores I've heard seem more geared towards type 2. I keep hearing nurses and Dr's talk about losing weight and possibly getting rid of my diabetes, because they mistakenly think I have type 2 after seeing my weight (which is frustrating).
  2. I am 2 days into my 10 day pre-op liquid diet and already jonesin for solid food. Today I tried cream of chicken and mushroom from cambells and it made me kind of queesy. Does anyone have and good recipes for the "full liquids" phase of the diet? Any advice is appreciated!
  3. Hey everybody! Well, after 5 months I finally got my surgery date the other day, Dec 10th! So I'm 2 days into my liquid diet today. I'd appreciate any kind of advice (i.e. how did your family and friends react, what have your results been, even any good pre-op recipes.) I'm new to the whole game, so any info is greatly appreciated. 8 days and the journey begins!! I'm nervous but super excited
