  1. I am five days out -- was banded last Friday, the day after my 41st birthday, in Baltimore, MD. I have felt super emotional since the surgery. I am excited and I am terrified. I am so scared to fail this time. I got through the 3 days of all clear liquids pretty easily and am now in 2 weeks of liquids/protein shakes and that feels a bit grim. I know I will be reading the discussion here and on various blogs for inspiration... I would love to hear what's going on in the heads of other newly banded folks... I have three daughters and I want this for them as much as for me.
