  1. I definately agree that it is probably the rice. Try eating shashimi (is that how you spell it) instead. I definately have trouble eating rice, bread, meats that are dry and not soft, cereals that are bulky. Went to Hometown Buffet Sat for my daughters birthday. Had some baked squash that was soft and right after ate a piece of chicken breast. Everything got stuck. I knew I was in trouble. Calmly walked to the bathroom and knew that I needed to start running. Just made it to the bathroom and everything came up. What surprised me was that the squash came up pretty quickly even tho it was soft. I guess you never know hau? Its really all about experimentation. Good luck.
  2. Got banded about a year ago. Lost about 40 lbs and now having hypoglycemic symptoms. Was running very high before the banding and it was gone immediately, yeah!! No more metformin. Lately, Ive been having blood sugars in the low 60's and high 50's. Feeling absolutely horrible. Is this all because of the diet?
  3. The nurse said that it sounded like I was having dumping syndrome, but I thought that it only happened with the bypass surgery, not the lap band. She also said that I might be taking in too much carbs. I have a follow up appointment next month.
  4. For the last few months, Ive been having a problem with low blood sugar. Horrible sensation! Doesn't seem to be involved with diet as it comes on anytime it wants too. Gone as low as 59. UGH!!! Does anyone out there have the same problem? Or does anyone have an answer? Need Help!
