Dear November Bandsters: I just got my call...I go in at 6:00 am on Monday, November 22nd...now the panic starts..I guess God in His wisdom did not let me know sooner, so I wouldn't be freakin out...please please keep in touch...good luck to all and God bless for a speedy recovery!!!

Dear November Bandsters! Good luck to everyone having their surgery tomorrow!!! I will know tomorrow if I go in on Monday at 7:30 am or not...problem with my insurance. If not, then it will be Dec. 7th...may be a good thing if it is Monday, since I am so nervous...and it will be a surprise!! Just got the book Bandwagon and its a God send, as you all are to me...a lot of good advise and information. The more we know the better...God bless!

I had everything all set for my November 22nd surgery and as luck would have it...the only thing that was not complete was from the doctor I trusted the most, my primary doctor that I have been seeing for the past 19 years. In July I had my physical and brough him a copy of the medical necessity letter and he said oh yes of course...well I find out this week, it was never done. My insurance company did not deny my claim but says it needs this...I have Cigna and they require 6 months of nutritionist visits, etc. before you are approved. I went yesterday for my paperwork and we sent it to Cigna...supposely you have a 72 hour window before you hear back from them...so still I do not know if this Monday I am banded or next date would be Dec 7th...tic toc...tic toc...tic toc...:smile:

Sheryl, YES!!! I would love for us to go through this journery together...I go in at 6:00 am to the hosptial next Monday...it would mean the world to me. I'm in North Bergen - New Jersey. Talk to me!!! :thumbup:

Dear MamaJ: You just put the realization up in front of me. So very true what you say. I remember when I was going to be a mom, before the birth the anxiety that kicked because of the unknown. This is the same type of feeling...but the new birth will be mine.

Thank you so much for your words Jillian...it means so much!!! I go in on the 22nd, just got a call from the hospital...need to be there at 6 am...its becoming more real by the minute...I know the calm will soon come.

Okay I can finally breathe!!! Because now I know that all I am feeling is "normal", I don't want to go into freak out mode...but this is all I can think about and talk about...my life before banding and then the unknown....BUT!!! I am not alone...we are all in on this ride together, Thank GOD for this forum...please promise to keep in touch...this is my life line...and no one could possibly understand more than the lovely people here...thank you!

Hi All, I am also scheduled for next Monday, Nov. 22nd. But, did not have to go on the liquid diet, only the day before surgery. I am a nervous reck and am waiting for the calm to take over. I know I want this...but the unknown is always so scary. I bought all the things I will need and am prepared...just knowing I am not alone on this road helps. Where are you all from? Dear Friends: Good morning! Yesterday was my pre-op appointment and my surgery is scheduled for November 22, 2010. I am nervous and a bit apprehensive...a lot to remember...but everything happens for a reason...and now I have all of you to take with my on my journey. Thanks for having me.:rolleyes2:
