  1. I was banded on 12-11-06 and love to cook, but didnt cheat, have been having cream of wheat for breakfast, protein shake with banana, eggs, and some sweet potatos. i have my first post op appt on 1 -2, very confused on what to eat, but not that hungry.
  2. I am from texas also, Dr. Carter in at umd hospital did my operation, banded 12-11-06 starting weight 263, 12-28 weight 250, he was a great dr.
  3. I had a rough first week, but 8 days post op , feeling better, I wished they would give you a little more info on post op. I am having cream of wheat for breakfast with a splendor and 2 protein shakes through out the day and water. I am not hungry at all, I go for my first post op dr visit on 1-2 which I think is a little far. I had a little stomach pain today low though. I started at 263 and now i think i am 254, so doing well.

  5. I was also banded on 12-12-06, and still on liquid shakes and cream of wheat for breakfast, dont rush anything, you are going to sabatogize the operation. Carry slim fast shakes in your car, or protein powder and mix with water.
