  1. I was banded on Dec. 28, 2010, and the doctor explained that the band would give me a sense of being full from eating just a little food. Well, I started this week eating mushy food, and I do get a full feeling, but it feels like I'm over full and it is coming up in my throat. The feeling is a little uncomfortable, but not overwhelming, and I just stop eating, and it goes away later. Is this semi-uncomfortable feeling the feeling of fullness the doctor described? And is this what I can expect from now on?
  2. Hi, I was banded on Dec 28th. I began a liquid diet about two weeks before that and since I have lost between 25 to 30 pounds. I know men tend to lose faster than women. I was a little discouraged because I haven't lost anything in the past week. As a matter of fact I gained a couple of pounds. I know... don't complain, I've lost a lot already. Hopefully I begin to lose again soon. I haven't been released to exercise yet, but that should help boost things. Good luck and God Bless.
