  1. I am having lap band surg in two weeks and am feeling quite overwhelmed . . . I was hoping to talk with someone who had been through this already . . . I am 51 years old, the single mother of a 5 year old and I work full time as a Nurse Practitioner . . . I'm overwhelmed with life as it is but know I'd be so much better without this extre 100 pounds . . . I'm afraid I'll be sick or won't be able to keep up with the rigiorous demands required of the lapband program . . . where exactly are the support groups and/or is there anyone I could talk to ??? Thanks ! denisewhitson@sbcglobal.net
