I've had to do 3 weeks pre op, i lost loads in the first couple of weeks and now appear to have stopped losing. i am putting it down to the fact that i have been exercising daily so hopefully building muscle. anyway today is my day...leaving for the hospital in an hour or so!!!!! good luck for your op julie x

OMG.....its the day after tomorrow. don't know if i'm scared or excited. i know for sure i will be glad when its done and i can start my new life. good luck everyone else xxx

I am getting banded in less than 2 weeks. would love to be in contact with other bandsters in the UK.

I had booked surgery for last November, then had last minute nerves and cancelled. i then embarked on 'hypnoband', it cost me £300, and didnt help me......im now booked to have a band in 3 weeks time. i guess it was worth a shot, and i guess it must work for some, but now i feel the band is the only option, but its good to know i;ve tried everything else!
