Hi! I'm on my 9th day of pre-op dieting, UGHHH! I will be having my surgery on October 19th, 5 more days! So excited! My mother had the surgery about 3 years ago and has done awesome, but I did have my concerns. I wasn't quite sure if it was a safe option for her and now here I am days away from my own surgery. I've been overweight now for about 10 years and with high cholesterol and many failed diets, I've also decided to take control of the situation. I'm  very excited about my surgery and look forward to the changes ahead.
