Did you have any promblems after the procedure?

I have a girl friend at work who had the lap band done on Feb. 14th, and she having concerns/problem. She had to have a redo due to her portal port twisted and now she taking off from work because of constantr upset stomach.

Myself and another older lady at work plans to have our lap band procedure done this coming Fall. I am somewhat afraid after hearing about my younger girlfriend Ashley's problem.

Makopp...I have not had any abnormal issues. I get stuck easily but I just have to learn to take smaller bites...and stay away from breading on chicken. lol. I hate that your friend is having such issues. is her band too tight...that might make her stomach upset so much? Make sure she's not drinking anything carbonated as well. It takes a bit of trial and error to know what your stomach/body can handle after the procedure, but everyone is different and I encourage you to keep researching. Not every day has been great, but would I do it again? In a heartbeat. God bless & keep you!
