Thank you all! It hasn't been easy as I chose not to share this with anyone, aside from my now ex boyfriend....so I come here to get the support I need. I am 15 months out from surgery and would like to lose another 40 pounds, though my BMI will still be too high. I'm currently about 214 (depending on the time of day!) and should weigh 167 for my height. I don't intend to get THERE.....but would like to be around 175-180 eventually.

It's all in the running, Heidi. You'll be happy to hear I finally told my parents that I had surgery....I haven't lost pounds in the past month, but I really do look different, so I had to tell them. My mom has been telling my brother she thinks I'm sick...so I finally have 3 people who know!!

You look great! How committed have you been? I guess what I am trying to ask is what are your weaknesses as well as your strengths? I am going thru the process and would be thrilled at your results. I am just scared of the comittment! I think I can....I think I can!!!

That is exactly my goal. I am very tall as well. I would like to be 175-180. That is what I was in high school and I was a size 12. You are my inspiration. We are built very much the same.

Thanks Jodi----except I was 230 pounds in high school, too. I've never been below a women's size 18 as an adult...(Until now!!)
