Ok, in the big scheme of things this is just a bellyache issue rather than a true rant issue. However, it's driving me nuts.
They're baaack............
We live near two major vineyards and wineries so my house gets invaded with them this time of year. I had blueberries and yogurt for Breakfast and they were swarming around my face trying to get at the blueberries.
I keep all the produce tucked away as much as possible but they are still all over. They sit on the walls, the radio aerial, the cupboards the range hood.........everywhere.
I keep the vacuum plugged in and several times a day I suck them all up. When my son was little this used to upset him.."Don't kill the fruit flies!!!" "No Honey, I'm just letting them outside..see? If I put the vacuum outside they can all fly out."
Traps don't work, there are far too many of them. So I'm thinking about another 6 weeks or so of this. Yikes.
