Need some advice and encouragement

I talked to my care coorindinator with United Healthcare today. They should call them i don't care. Anywho, i couldn't really get an anwser on specific requirements. I have no comobities(sp) and my BMI just dropped to 39.9 when i went to doctor Monday. I'm currently taking adipex. I'm going to use Clark Memorial in Jeffersonville Indiana and I was wondering how much leg work will they do for me? I'm really concerned I'll be denied.

I would call again , you will likely get a different person who will hopefully be more helpful. But demand an answer on what your policy covers with WLS. I have UHC and had no problems getting answers.

I do not know about your surgeon but most have insurance coordinators that handle the approval process, they are experienced in this so it is better to leave it to them (that is, once you find out if the procedure is covered with your policy)
