Okay, so I was banded in July 08. No complications. Until now. I went to my PCP yesterday, diagnosed with bronchitis. I woke up at 2 am with terrible acid reflux, and what feels like contractions moving up into my throat. Went to my band dr., he thought the mucous was irritating my stoma, so pulled out 4cc. At first I thought I felt better, now I'm still having the reflux and contractions that move up into my throat. It feels like I'm being choked. I haven't eaten anything since last night, strictly liquids. No pain around band or in my stomach. Has anyone else had this happen?
