My co-worker wants the lap-band, but when she checked with her insurance (BCBS of AL, Blount County Sheriff Dept), it covers WLS, but only at 50%. Do any of you have an idea of how much that might be? Or even better, does anyone else have this coverage and might have an EOB we could see?

You can have your friend call them and ask for a packet and they will send your friend all the information including pricing based on how much your insurance covers. I have Atena and they only cover 80%. With is doctor I have to pay $800 out of pocket to him.
