Help for my Mom

Hi! I'm new to your forum. I live in Houston, TX and I'm trying to learn about the lap band procedure for my Mother. She has battled with her weight for at least 20 years. She did Optifast and did really well and kept it off for 3 or 4 years. Then she had to have a knee surgery in 1993 and well you can imagine the rest. She really wants to do this and I want her to be successful. I just want to talk to real people who have had the surgery. I have been searching the internet for the best doctor for her. I don't know if Mexico or US would be better or what "fills" are. Any help would be appreciated. I am concerned for my Mom's health in the future if we don't do this surgery.
