I am so happy :-)

Cigna approved my lap band surgery Hip Hip Hooray! I am going to meet the surgeon on February 26. I cannot wait

By the way, I have to be on liquid Protein diet + one lean cuisine meal for 2 weeks then 4 liquids diet (no solid) for the week before surgery.

Any advice on which Protein Drink will not make you hungry that much? What I need to prepare before I see the surgeon and the dietitian?

Any recommendations is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Alisa

It is finally your turn! I carry Cigna too, and know about the long process!

As for favorite shakes, I found the slim fast to be my favorite. I had Optifast and slimfast and seemed to always go for the slimfast.

I found the first three days VERY hard, but then, it became easy - I was not allowed a lean cuisine, only liquids. I stuck to it, and the surgeon was very pleased at the size of my liver on band day!

Good luck to you!

Cannot offer my own personal opinion on the shakes but the Nutritionalist mentioned Designer Whey powder. She said it taste the best. I plan to purchase this when I get to the point you are at. I still have 3 more months of weigh ins. Congratulations. Best of luck.
