Insurance

:thumbup: Does anyone on here have United Health Care insurance? If so can you tell me if I'm going to have a fight on my hands? LOL My husband and I just picked up this insurance with his job and I'm not to sure on all the benefits.:)

    I have UHC and they have been wonderful. I was approved quickly, they covered most of my pre-op and surgery costs and 100% of my fills. That is not to say that your policy through them is the same as mine though...

    I also have UHC insurance and I was banded on 11/13. Approval was fairly easy. It took 3 weeks for them to answer.

    If your policy does not have an exclusion for bariatric surgery and your bmi is over 40, I'd think you have a great chance of approval.
