Just starting out. Step 1, getting approved.

Hello all,

I have an appt. on Jan 22nd for the LAP-BAND® orientation. My doctor has already sent the referral and now I need to take the bariatric surgery prep coarse. My BMI is over 42. I have high cholesterol and even though I am fine right now I have suffered from high blood pressure for about ten years. I have an appt. on the 12th to be tested for sleep apnea (my mom suffered from sleep apnea) and I have bad joint pain. All the other stuff like diabetes, heart disease run in my immediate family. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who is going threw the program in Riverside county with Kaiser. I live in Menifee and was just wondering what my chances are of getting approved. I'm so excited but I am also nervous that it wont happen.

This is a wonderful website ! I look forward to chatting and getting to know you all.

Anne
