I was banded 2/08, port revision 6/08, one fill, lost 19 lbs, gained it back. Endocrinologist appt. last week showed new, multiple hormone deficiencies including thyroid, IGF, etc. I feel like I've been a side-swiped here. Have had a few issues, but nothing like some of you folks have suffered through. More inconveniences for me really. But now I feel like a big fat failure and I've been plugging along like I've been instructed! I'm facing some back/abdominal pain right now that is wearing me down. Now it feels like I now have to begin all over again and I'm wondering if these multiple hormone issues will sink my new ship completely. Does anyone have any experiences with hormones affecting them after lapband surgery? Thanks!
