We rolled out a totally new look for our beloved LapBandTalk this evening.

Over the next few weeks we plan on adding many new exciting features to the site.

Please let me know if you notice any bugs or have any issues with any part of the site.

I miss her too! In a week or two I'll have specs where any member can send me their before and after pics and I'll be able to add them to that area.

Alex when I use the view first unread button, it always brings me to the last post. Isn't it supposed to bring me to where I left off on a thread?

See the attached screenshot. The link with the red arrow is used to go the the first new post. The link with the green arrow pointing to it is used to go to the last post.

I hope to one day be at the top of the site in a year or two!! I'm really liking the new layout so far. Kudos to you alex.

Is there a way we can change the color of the main layout like right now its an aquaish greenish could it be made to where we have a button to push that can make it blue or black or pink or green etc just an idea...unless it's already possible? Like a skin...just wondering

Yes, this would be a great option. I like the new layout but I don't like the color. But if we can't choose the color ourselves like in some sites, then maybe change it to something like blue, which would probably appeal to more people than aquamarine. In any color it's still a great site. :thumbup:

you can change the color in the chat room - lick on the people grouped together with the plus sign.

We could easily offer our members the option to change the color of the skin but then we'd have to change the color of all the images we use across the site. It's a lot of work but definitely something that's on my list for the not so far off future.

I like the new look, Alex! One thought about color - those of us with eyesight problems have trouble reading color on color - and that depends on what colors are used, probably different for everybody. My hope is that you will have sufficient contrast between the font and the background no matter what colors you are using. As the font gets smaller and smaller - with less contrast - it quickly becomes impossible to read.

I am really happy with the new layout, Alex. Reminds me of the 'old days' when it was nice and simple and easy to read. The latest version we had was just too 'busy' and I really don't miss the 'latest photo albums' being gone.

I have to say, I don't like it. I'm lost. I also miss the links to the right and especially the subscribed thread link. Where is it? I'm so confused with this new style.
