Hi Everyone!

Greetings from the City of Brotherly Love!

I'm about to get banded on 11/10, and I can't wait for my knee and back to stop hurting. I have a detached medial meniscus and have been walking with a cane for the past 6 months.

I've been having trouble with overeating for my whole life and I hope that, after banding, I'll get sick if I overeat, thereby providing me with negative reinforcement and forcing me to develop new eating habits.

Phen-fen worked so well with me, I was extremely pissed when it was withdrawn.

Anyone with a similar experience?

Hope to hear from y'all soon!

-Jon

Welcome Jon.

Where are you having your surgery? I live in South Jersey and had mine done at Christiana in Newark, DE. I'd imagine you're having yours done in Philly?

Anyway, congratulations and welcome. Keep us posted. It's a great decision.

Go Phils!

Hi Bryan!

I'm getting my surgery at Penn by Dr. Noel Williams.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Jon
