blood in my slime (ew)

I took a bite of a no bake oatmeal cookie shortly after taking a 2 hour nap, took a sip of milk, and of course it backed up a little because I didnt chew too well, and I didnt PB, more like knew not to swallow my spit for a minute, let it go down, and there was a tinge of blood when I pushed a little to get the remaining slime out. No injuries to my mouth.... Was bright-tish, not a lot, dilluted. Anyways Im kind of scared. Im not over tight or anything, I could probably get a .2 in my band. Where the hell did the blood come from? I then of course did a round of spitting/hocking to see if more would come up, but nothing.

Earlier today I did eat some sunflower seeds, just seeds, not shell, but perhaps what if I did swallow some shell, could it cut me up 8 hours later?

Anyways, if this has happened to anyone can you clue me in it has me a little worried about erosion... or something???

Amanda
