A little bragging

Hey guys,

So, today has been one week since my surgery and 3 weeks since I started my liquid Optifast diet to get ready for surgery. In the 3 weeks since I started the liquid diet, I'm down 29 pounds. I also had lost 10 pounds prior to starting Optifast by trying to make some of the changes recommended by the dietitian, which means I'm down 39 pounds from my all time high wait from July of 304 pounds. I'm no longer using my CPAP machine, and I'm no longer morbidly obese.

I know that I still have a long road ahead of me, but right now I feel like I am envisioning a life that I truly never thought I would have again. I'm actually even thinking of trying to train to run a marathon-eventually.

It only gets better from here!

Thanks for letting me brag.

COngrats on the weight loss I was recently banded as of August 21st and have gone from 286 to 252 I am still morbidly obese becasue I am super short but it is progress I used to have to use my cpap every night and now I never use It I know it feels great to lose the 1st 30 so congrats on the weight loss again and keep it up :)

Congratulations and keep up the good work.

If you can't brag here, where can you brag. My weight lose seems to have slowed down a bit (only down 1.5 pounds this week). At least it's weight lose and not gain. I'm scheduled for my first fill on Oct. 2nd.

Thanks everyone! It really does feel great. I walked about 3 miles today and went through my closet and threw out a bunch of clothes that I'll never have to wear again.

Truly-I feel like I'm getting back the life that I thought I had lost forever.

Bryan
