I think the ads have become obnoxious on the forum lately.. but I am able to look past it, I understand you have to make money somehow.

But is there no monitoring of ads?

I mean.. this gem keeps popping up--

I hate pizza, so doesn't mean all that much to me, but I can see someone here, crying about how hard the liquid diet is, or that mushies suck,etc.. and then WHAM.. MMMM PIZZA. That's real helpful. :tongue2:

ha, I haven't seen that either, but you're so right on! LBT was my oasis during that phase, but it wouldn't be with that popping up!

Everytime I go to that pregnancy thread, the Pizza Hut offer pops up. I haven't seen it on any of the other threads. I'm wondering how ads work.. can they specifically target? So they're trying to taunt the pregnant banders into eating pizza?

I've never seen any food ads. I'll have to check it out though to see if it pops up.

I personally hate ads! I wish we cold do away with them. For the time being we need them in order to pay our costs (servers, bandwidth, colocation, power, backups, admins, programmers, designers etc etc.)

I'm working on a plan that would allow us to do away with the annoying ones and possibly all of them alltogether. You'll see more about this in the very near future.

That pizza ad shouldn't be on this board and if you click on it and give me the URL it goes to I can block it from showing again.
