Stomach irritations

Has anyone had a problem with acid and spicy food irritating their stomach to the point to where it affected your band? I had to go to the doctor yesterday and have 1cc of Fluid let out because it was too tight and I couldn't even keep liquids down. the doctor seems to think that something could have irritated it. I eat a LOT of tomatoes and salsa. It's good and easy to go down. Do you think that could be a problem for me? Oh God, I hope not!
