??? for banded cops

I saw a law enforcment thread so figured some cops would see this if I posted here.

I am getting banded the end of June. In August my wife and I will be moving to Florida for her job. I am a network administrator but have a degree in criminal justice and I am thinking about switching careers when I move.

My question is: If I get the band, do you see it effecting BPT in anyway besides making more fit for physical work. Like will the port get smashed around or something.

And also, has the band ever hindered you when you were working?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Snuffy,

I am not a cop but have a friend who is and he is banded. He has no issue at all. In fact, he is in better shape than ever and joined the swat team.

Most can't feel the port (he can't and it doesn't interfere with his job).
