Does Insurance pay for surgery in Mexico?

I have Champva. Does anyone have experiance with them. I know that my surgery would be covered, but I would like to go to Mexico to have it done. It sounds like it may be a less time comsuming experiance. Any thoughts from anyone would be helpful. Thank you

    I have heard of some insurance companies, BCBS in particular, that will pay for surgery in Mexico. But it depends on the particular policy.
