Feeling discouraged

I was so excited to be going to a lap band seminar tonight. I have been looking forward to it for weeks. After talking to one of the girls at the SEB office, she wasn't too confident medcost would cover the surgery. Of course I am putting the cart before the horse hear but I was really hoping for an easy approval. Im really discouraged now.:)

ETA: I just got off the phone with insurance. They require 6 mo of prior physician assisted weight loss. I was seeing a doctor from 6-26-07 until 11-06-07...not exactly 6 mo. Anyone know how closely they look at the actual dates? I stopped seeing that doctor cause she was terrible.
