I am newly banded as of January 28th with Dr. Spivak. So far so good! Tomorrow is day 3 postop and I am feeling great. His office employees and nurses I can't rave enough about. He even had someone 7 years postop do the first part of the seminar. I can't remember her name, but she looked just like Kimora Lee Simmons, she stayed until the last of us went home and answered all the questions should could as honestly as it gets. I came in from NYC 2 days before the surgery to find all taken care of and running smoothly. Even offered my doctor back in NY quid pro quo for doing my follow up. (most dr. do not take others clients). His diet restriction is very tolerable post op, he requires only liquids for the 1st 48 hours, then onto mushy foods along with the liquids. He, of course explains this differnece before you go into surgery. (I paid cash, which was the reason for another doctor in my home town of Houston, since insurance denied me do to no comormidities). I will post agin as time goes on.
