Hi everyone! So in July I was revised from the sleeve to the bypass. Fast forward 3 months and starting later this week I've started experiencing pins and needles and slight numbness in my abdomen through my legs on both sides. I got my lab work completed today by my surgeon. Have any of you ever experienced this? Please help. I'm a little on edge over what's going on.

My first guess is that maybe since you have lost weight your posture is changing and maybe you have a disc in your back that is putting pressure on a nerve. Look up the diagram of dermatome online and see if the area you have numbness relates to a lumbar disc. Does the numbness get worse/better if you flex or extend your back?

It could be a vitamin B deficiency. Are you taking your supplements?
