Voice

Hi y'all. I hope you all are having a good day.

Has anyone else had a problem with a raspy voice after surgery? It's been 7 months and it starts getting raspy a lot. I can't even sing like Cher in the shower anymore. My voice cuts out. I wonder if this is permanent?

Yes! I did a separate post on this. My voice has been generally weaker since surgery (almost 7 months ago), and it gets very raspy by the end of the day. In addition, I was a pretty serious amateur singer, and I can no longer sing anywhere near the way I used to. I'm afraid I don't have any answers for you, but I can definitely relate to you concerns!

I'm so sorry that you can't sing like you used too. Everyone thinks I have a sore throat now. I hope that it eventually comes back. I'll ask the doc at my appt tomorrow. Thank you for sharing. [emoji22]
