where are you at

I had my GLB to RNY May 23 and I still can not tolerate anything by watery liquids. At post op visit yesterday they said if I cant do more than a liter a day of fluids I'll have to come in to get hydrated. Really I am lucky to do 700cc and that's all day and really trying. How are you all doing......

I'm lucky to get 40 ounces in.. remember our protein shakes count.. and as far as eating.. my doc wants me on soft foods and I'm lucky to hold pureed down.. so I just listen to my body.. no need to hurry..

Honestly, I'm doing pretty well with my fluids and protein.

Please do listen to your doc about your hydration. If you can't get it in on your own, you will need IV fluids. Not something to mess about with.

Hope things get easier for you soon.
